My family has been visiting Dr Leiman for over 10 years. We have had checkups, cleaning, root canals , implants and cosmetic work done . Today I was looking online and saw one review here on your sight that seemed a bit off so decided to finally post one of my own. Dr Leiman is nothing but gentle, kind, funny and talented. He always is concerned with my comfort and is always painless . He and his staff are amazing with my kids specially when my youngest had a hole in his tooth. He didn't even need to use a shot since he has a gentle laser! I think I have changed insurances 3 times in this period of time and they are always helpful at figuring out the confusion with me. I highly recommend Dr. Leiman to patients of all ages and for all sorts of dentistry!

Dr. Leiman is great! For many years I was using a dentist in NYC but decided to take the recommendation of one of my best friend to try Dr. Leiman. His office has more up to date dentistry than my dentist in the city. I had my teeth whitened and I am very happy with the results! My children love him.

I have been going to Dr. Leiman for over 10 years. I highly recommend his practice and have sent my family and friends as well. I love that the office uses a waterlase instead of the old fashion drill, so now I don't have to hear screeching in my ears! The best thing is that I don't have to wait an 30 mins. to an hour in the waiting room like I do when I see to most of my Doctors. Dr. Leiman is warm, friendly and has a tremendous amount of patience to answer all my questions.

Receptionist is extremely nasty. After speaking with Dr. Leiman about her attitude, he refused to address it. I would not recommend him.

About Hygienist: She has a chip on her shoulder.

Dr. Leiman is adept with an injections and rates highly for a painless experience. The real pain is felt within a few years when treated teeth rapidly fail. After 10 years and $25,000, all of my upper teeth require extraction and a full plate denture. The facility itself is small, sparse and decorated with children in mind. A superb hygienist aside, Dr. Leiman is a one-man band. He presents himself as stressed and chronically pressed for time. He is not personable, but can be stern and condescending with adult patients. He is phobic about patient lateness and demonstrably critical of patients who arrive !2min+ late, regardless of reason. This dentist seems less than sensitive to long-term patient health and focuses solely on the problem at hand. My periodontal health was ignored until the tooth loss became critical. Upon pointing out a severely decayed tooth, I was told. "I guess that one got in under the radar". The result was that this root canal and crowned tooth required immediate extraction. An entire mouthful of fixed bridges and crowns failed- each within less than 4 years. This is cosmetically excellent but structurally questionable work provided by an unfriendly and harried man. Your experience may vary.

The doctor is always rushing, and can be a little condescending to patients. He is temperamental and makes snide remarks or faces. Also, he is not very concerned about patient pain and comfort, and just focuses on getting the job done quickly so he can move on to another patient. He also seems annoyed when you ask him follow up questions. Also, this practice charges more than other dentists, so shop around and find another dentist if you can. He had quite a bit of work done for me (root canal, crown, filling..) and would definitely switch as soon as my insurance switches or as soon as I find another dentist in the area that takes my insurance. Insurance help - they always quote a lower rate, but end up charging me an extra couple hundred bucks. They keep balance billing me, even when they give me the wrong insurance cost. Also, there are always other add on costs and procedures. Also, when he did my crown, he didn't really make all sides polished, or ask if i was comfortable or not. I remember other dentists asking about my bite, or the smoothness of the crown. He did none of those and felt like he was rushing. I had to ask his assistant later on to ask him to polish it . I will definitely not recommend this dentist.

About Hygienist: Hygienist in the practice seemed okay, but got a bit defensive and a little pissy when I said that this particular practice charges more than other practices.
