Scheduled for a blepharoplasty with Dr. Choe two years ago. Got there, was given a drug to relax, which worked very well and I was flying high. Was taken back to the surgery room, still very high. In this compromised condition, Dr. Choe told me that she thought I would benefit more from a brow lift. I was higher than a kite! I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MAKING DECISIONS ABOUT SURGERY! Two years later, I need to go back for a blepharoplasty. I won't be going back to Dr. Choe."

She is friendly and knowledgeable. But she needs to explain the procedures (I have had more than just a cleaning from her for over 10 years, including cavities and root canals) with more clarity. Perhaps a visual dental book in the lobby and by the treatment area would help. The facilities are clean and new. The price is average, meaning lower than Manhattan dentists but not cheap.
About Front Desk: They're patient, smart and friendly. Dr. Choe has become increasingly popular within the Korean community and getting a relatively fast appointment with her has become rare. Older Koreans who immigrated to the US are a bulk of her clients. The staff is therefore also Korean since they speak the language. HOWEVER, they are also think like Koreans, meaning they accept walk-ins especially from the elderly. The staff do not want to leave an impression of disrespecting them so they accommodate senior citizen walk-ins as they are so used to doing so in Korea. This becomes problematic to those who made appointments as they must wait a while.
