My parents and I began in 1961. Dr. Cohen rejuvenated my mother's mouth. She had gum disease, etc. I continued with my family. I am 66 and I have six children with the youngest 20. They all love him. I had many mouth problems, too and he has taken care of all of them. Because I found insurance to care for my family, 1 1/2 years ago I went to a new place nearer my home for the four of us left in my family. They had a spectacular facility and took good care of us. However, I had problems with the crowns and bridge they put into me and when I got done with them, my personal dentist, who appeared very skilled and caring, told me he just didn't know what else to do for my pain in two places (one of which had been ongoing for months) and metal taste near one, which we spent over a month trying to alleviate. I returned to Dr. Cohen for help and within TWO days, his instruction to me of how to alleviate the metal taste resulted in complete success. The pains took three visits because he gradually adjusted the teeth to fit properly. He got rid of pain I thought I would have to live with for the rest of my life. He has done this a number of times over my life and everyone who talks about him says the same; he is a miracle worker.

My family and I have been visiting Dr. Cohen for over 30 years -- he's been my dentist my entire life. His philosophy is to always save and preserve the natural tooth. I have never known him to recommend or advise unnecessary or costly procedures -- when he does a procedure, he does a careful and thorough job, but he will also not jump ahead to push a costly procedure if it's not warranted and there is no "hard sell" for cosmetic procedures. He's very personable and caring -- an excellent family dentist. His office may not be as flashy as some, but this is also reflected in his reasonable rates.
I highly recommend Dr. Cohen -- I have long since moved out of state, but continue to return to see him annually for my checkups and cleanings. He's worth it!
