I first used Dr. Rosenthal while I lived in New York in the late 1970's. I eventually moved to California and then to Montreal, Canada and have continued to use him for major procedures (i.e. crowns, etc.) all these years. As many dentists have over diagnosed, Dr. Rosenthal always offered second opinions and treatment that was far less invasive and costly, saving me time, stress and money. He has saved me literally many thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. He has done all my crowns and not one of them has ever needed replacement (I went to him for replacement of an original crown by another dentist that broke after three years. Dr. Rosenthal's replacement crown is still in my mouth over 30 years later. )
Dr. Rosenthal is also very reasonably priced, providing maximum value and virtually pain-free treatment. When he does a job, I know that I will never have to return for that tooth.
I never hesitate to leave Montreal and go down to New York to have Dr. Rosenthal administer to my teeth when there is major work to be done.
Of all the dentists I have encountered in my 40 plus years of adulthood, Dr. Rosenthal is the most honest, highly skilled and knowledgeable of all of them.

I live in Carlsbad, California now. But 20 years ago, Larry Rosenthal did extensive dental work on my mouth and I've never come across a dentist, in all that time, that could match his skill. Back then, he was trained in everything from periodontal surgery to orthodontics. He was an artist, yet a humble person who was always interested in learning the latest techniques. I had a hereditary calcium deficiency that required all my teeth to be crowned and Dr. Rosenthal did the work. I had to have many novocaine injections and he was expert at it. I felt no pain, even though I was nervous. I recently made an appointment for an annual cleaning, and the dentist who saw me was stunned when I told him my mouth was filled with 20-year-old crowns. I'll never forget Dr. Rosenthal-he forever changed my life. He's a gifted practioner and I would highly recommend him.
