Highly recommended by my fussy, but expert, kids' orthodontist. McDonald is fantastic--smart, fast (procedure!, not consultation--he took a lot of time), explanatory, and very conscious of a person's (kid's) anxiety about extraction. His office in Oakland is beautiful, his staff is kind and very competent. My kid actually looks forward to having more extractions (if necessary). He is terrific, and we are a physician family.
He's also a PhD in addition to DDS and is trained in state-of-the-art anaesthetic modalities. He also has a reputation for being the implant guy. The other patients, waiting in the waiting room, seemed really pleased with him and his work.

Excellent dentist with very high standards for his work. Treats every patient like he was working on his mother.
I had four implants done today and am still feeling some pain, but the VICODIN is keeping in check.
The entire procedure not counting the time to numb the area took 30 minuets. During the process I didn't feel any pain.
I had the work done at the UOP Dental College in San Francisco and for this reason the cost was less than half if done in a private practice.
If your thinking of getting an implant i recommend Dr. McDonald and his staff highly.
