When I first started seeing Dr kobren for veneers and as a regular dentist he was great, friendly, gentle, and knew my expectations for my veneers and very accomodating with prices. Later on it became where everytime I wanted a teeth cleaning he would push me to get xrays when my teeth were not in pain, no cavities and all my wisdom teeth were extracted long ago. Furthermore, their secretary in great neck mischarged me twice, and not in the good way. I explained to the secretary which insurance plan I had and she argued with stating that I was wrong. I had to call the next day to speak with a different secretary to have the extra charge reversed, this happened twice. Another incident is when I went in for a routine cleaning, no pain, no cavities and the next day I wake up with one of my teeth hurting. I came back in the following day and Dr kobren checked my mouth again and in formed me the enamel had eroded a bit from brushing so my tooth would be sensitive. Jeez it would have been nice if he told me this when I originally came in for a cleaning and check up. It makes me think if he's even checking out my mouth at all...
About Hygienist: In great neck the cleaning is a bit rough/painful but she's nice. Port Washington has great hygenists and staff.

Great Dental Office Staff and Facilities outstanding my only gripe is that the parking lot some times fills up,best job ever on my teeth,thanks

Dr. Kobren is as superb. He's caring, smart, honest, easygoing, very friendly, a good listener, has a light touch, and best of all, comes through on his promise to make my new crowns beautiful and real-looking. For 28 years, I had the WORST front teeth caps you ever saw. I won't bore you about the dentist that had made them for me. I consulted with several dentists over the years who didn't offer a solution that seemed even remotely in my price range. So I was very discouraged. Not only did this wonderful dentist quote me a truly reasonable price, but he gave me the most beautiful front teeth you ever saw. MUCH better than I expected, I swear. Recently, at my 30th high school reunion, one of my former classmates remarked, "You have beautiful teeth!" I thought to myself, 'Wow. You would never have said that had you seen me a year ago!' Now I always show my teeth when I smile for photos. PS...the staff and hygienists are all really good as well. Highly recommend Dr. Kobren.
