I saw Dr. Turetzky at NYU and he was extremely rude. Dr. Turetzky made derogatory comments about "Obamacare" in relation to myself and other less than fortunate patients that his students at NYU are forced to treat because NYU takes medicare patients.
After being seen by Dr. Turetzky I had to return to NYU to be seen by another dentists who correctly diagnosed my tooth and promptly fixed it.
The Dentist responsible for doing the right thing is, Dr. Elliot Grotell. Dr. Grotell, to me is 10x the dentist Turetsky is. Turetsky was rude, ineffective and incorrect in his diagnosis and ended-up treating me incorrectly causing me an entire night of excruciating pain.
As an aside it appears that Turetzsky shows his true colors in his vanity. He wears a buffoonish hair-piece and a mustache dyed the same ridiculous color. It appeared to me that he was more interested in looking affluent than being efficacious. It is my opinion that Turetzsky should give-up teaching a dedicated himself to something he appears to be suited for; lowering his golf handicap or waxing his Mercedes.
