After getting x-rays, Dr. Melo entered the room. He was arrogant, and kept commenting that I was "too young" to have certain health issues. I had been in extreme pain for 14 hours prior to my consult, and only wanted to see if he could pull the affected tooth. He looked around my mouth, saying my teeth were cavity-ridden and soft, shaking his head. I had two bad teeth but only 1 was hurting, so I asked for that one to be pulled. He questioned whether the pain was coming from the other tooth, and wanted to pull both. Due to my TMJ, I asked if he would do one at a time. He said "TMJ, aren't you a little young for that? I bet you also grind your teeth in your sleep." (I don't). He was presumptive and rude. Finally, he wanted to take a metal rod to my teeth and hit them, and I declined nicely, telling him I was in pain for so long, I hadn't slept or eaten in 24 hours and I didn't want the pain to start again. He wanted to root around with his fingers, I declined again. My tooth was broke, there was no reason to put me in pain. Because I wouldn't let him hit my bad teeth, he threw me out of his office for being an insubordinate patient. He just wanted to hurt me, and that's not what a true dentist will do.
About Front Desk: They were nice to get me in quickly and deal with my crying fit after Dr. Melo told me to find another dentist. I don't fault them.

About Hygienist: She was nice, but I didn't appreciate her comment to me that since I wouldn't let Dr. Melo do whatever he wanted in my mouth that I would be an uncooperative patient. I've had teeth pulled before with no issues; once again, presumptive.
