Makes sure its done right. Also teaches at dental university. So up to date treatment. A dentist I had before him was using old stuff from twenty /thirty years ago.Silver(that decayed)posts instead of rubber to fill your root canals after the nerve is removed. I told Fulop when he commented on how old they were that it was done only a year ago. Luckily this dentist is no longer in business. No waiting hardly He takes you at time appointed. Caps mostly for back teeth. Takes union dental plans. No quantity over quality like some of those dental mills. Overall always and I stress always a very pleasant experience. How many of you can say that about your dentist?

Facility- looks like a cheap motel in rural America: old furniture (garage sales?), old lamp, old instruments, old patient chaire, old toilette... old everything. Brown, old panneling cover the walls. Very low ceillings. Ugly! To compensate he is cheap and nice as a person but it doesn't help his professional side: he doesn't know much what he is doing. I had work done that had to be re-done again and again and every time he'd assure me that that tooth won't need to be touched for a while, but he was always wrong. I am in the middle of a big job, already sorry, and I don't know if I should continue the work with him or someone else. I don't know if the insurance will cover such a situation.

About Hygienist: He doesn't have a hygienist:: he provides this service himself and does a poor job. After a cleaning session I come home and re-scrape my teeth with my own dental scraper. The man is too cheap to hire a hygienist I guess, but he is not one, for goodness sake!

I have been a patient for 44 years, since i was 18 years old. He is : caring, cheap (to clarify, he will watch your money when he is doing things), simply the best. Although he is extremely good, he will not hesitate to send you to a specialist if he thinks they can do the particular job better. My wife and I are moving from the area soon, and losing him as our dentist is on top of the list of things we are going to miss. In fact, we might very well fly back to NY to see him, he's that good! As far as costs go, I have had so many things done it would be impossible to specify. See him, he'll tell you what you need, he'll tell you the cost, you decide. It's that simple.

I have been visiting Dr. Fulop twice a year for the past 17 years (since I was 12 years old). As a child I encountered several issues with my baby teeth, and most of them had to be removed. Even then, I experienced total comfort and no pain. My mother, father, brother, aunt, uncle, and cousin go to him regularly. He is knowledgeable, personable, gentle, and best of all: EXTREMELY PUNCTUAL. If you're appointment is for 4, you're going in at 4. And he also has Sunday hours. This should be YOUR dentist. He's absolutely fantastic.

He is a wonderful dentist and a great guy. We've been going to him for 15 or more years (someone recommended him when we moved here). We have a friend who drives from NJ to Queens just to go to him. My grandmother hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years, and my mother made her visit him even though she was terrified. We used to laugh because not only did she keep going to him for dental work, but she started to have her hair done whenever she had an appointment with him. He's gentle and explains what he is doing as he does it.
