The doctor has entitlement issues and lacks empathy. He is an old washed up has been who needs to get his head out of the clouds. He rushes through all procedures and blames the patients for showing up. He also blames the staff and everyone else for his attitude. Dr. Genna needs a refresher course in the fundamentals of dentistry and the ethics of patient care.

About Front Desk: The friendliest interaction I encountered while being a patient was with the front desk people.

Daughter had check up with x-rays. Told that she had 2 small cavities and should go to pediatric dentist. When checking to see if x-rays were sent over, found out that they couldn't be because they were too blurry. Spoke to another dentist at his facility and they said there were 3 cavities after reading the blurry x-rays. Was told that dentists could disagree about cavities. I never knew that, did you- right! Went to pediatric dentist- 4 cavities. Are you kidding me? My other daughter had an appointment the next day and he wasn't even there. We waited an additional 10 minutes and still he was a no show-late. No personal connection at all, but wrong diagnosis. Will never go back to the office again.

About Front Desk: Front staff was lovely. Very friendly and accommodating.

i went in for a filling. for my entire life, i had "fangs" which bothered me but didnt prevent me from living my life. the day of the filling was my birthday. Dr. Genna offered me the opportunity to purchase veneers, therefore making my smile straight and lasting up to 30 years. the cost was 2,000.00 per tooth. for a total of 4,000.00, my fangs would be gone and my smile even. I used the care credit card and he began the process. After all was said and done, a few weeks go by and im eating toast and one of them falls out. the next year was hell. i was back in that office every few weeks having that veneer reattahced. it fell out .in vegas while having a conversation, at a wedding, on a date....the worst case scenarios. after a dozen failed attempts, i began using crazy glue gel and still do that till this day. its been four years. now the veneer is smaller than the other one and last year i had an infection so bad that i had emergemnchy surgery as the infection was headed toward my brain and could have died in less than 24 hours. upon waking up outof surgery, i found a tooth was pulled which destroyed my self esteem even more. Today i am looking to have a full set of implants put in. Dr Genna destroyed my faith and teeth

About Front Desk: sucks. maybe there was a day or two where somoene was kind. maybe.

For over 20 years I have been his patient and have been unhappyy with his personality but his work was acceptable. So he told me to come back once and made an appointment but he didn't know why. He said he was done with the work on me. When he applied veneers to six of my teeth he bonded two teeth together (no spacing). He worked with every tool he must have had to create a space and finally suceeded however a week later the veneer and tooth just fell out of my mouth. Unable to apply another veneer he had to do a crown. He said my insurance covered a crown and I was suppose to be happy? Foolishly I did not notify his boss and have been unhappy with a crown not matching the veneers. Finally I decided Dr. Genner is not for me! I would not recommend him if for nothing else but his uncaring manner.

Nasty and put off by a 12 year old who was nervous about having two teeth pulled; reason he was nervous; this doctor pulled his teeth las time and he was in much pain. Told me that he was backed up and had four more patients; "do not have time for this"...threw his dental tool on the table and ripped his gloves off in disgust. Left me to take my son with half a removal and two shots of novacaine home with his mouth bleeding...the justification was "I told you I was backed up!" Animal

He saved my teeth. No other dentist wanted to touch them because I have fluoride issues which leads to tooth decay. Dr Genna took it step by step and now I'm more than half way there. I just started the work 3 months ago even though I've been going to his practice for about 3 years. I had to get the money together (thanks to my lovely and amazing ex-fiance who paid for almost half). No dentist is cheap. Another dentist turned me away because I was "too far gone" (5 route canals, 13 cavities, 1 crown and a bridge needed) and Dr. Genna took me in. The other dentist said my front tooth would have to be pulled because the cavity was inside the gum. Well Dr Genna fixed it with a simple filling. He only does what is necessary, he will not do a route canal on a tooth that just needs a filling. But his staff sucks! Francine is rude and nasty. The girl with the light brown hair is the sweetest. If you go to their practice as for Dr. Genna only, I hear Dr. Mike Giuliani is a bit cold and nasty.
