First time patient with Dr. Minami at his office and I was very impressed. I had heard about him and the office before. What's great about Dr. Minami was that I was immediately seen and he took his time with his exam and cleanings. He was never in a hurry and was very thorough and answered all my questions. I also appreciated that he just told me what he recommended and not try to "upsell" me with treatment I didn't need which I've had in the past. Staff was very nice! Thanks!

I came here for a routine cleaning & checkup. The cleaning was fine, but he misdiagnosed one of my teeth as having a cavity (I've never had a cavity) and in pursuit of this diagnosis leaned his full body weight on the dental explorer, which would definitely have damaged my enamel if it was borderline.
Luckily, I went to another dentist for a second opinion, who did better x-rays and confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tooth.
Avoid at all costs.

Wow! Dr. Minami is the best dentist I have ever had, and I've had a lot! He is so considerate, respectful, gentle, compassionate, skilled. And the rest of the staff is amazing, so friendly and warm. I would never think of going anywhere else. Dr. Minami does all of my cleaning and x-rays, and I have not had one cavity in years and years.

Dr. Minami is excellent. For the last 3.5 years, I had avoided seeing ANY dentist due to a horrible experience with a previous denstist. I have a reoccurring problem with one of my molars and the past two dentist never fixed the problem. The tooth kept getting worse (huge cavity) and every visit to a dentist was a traumatic and painful experience. I had decided that I would just not go and see what happened. Realizing eventually, that the tooth wasn't getting any better I decided to finally seek help. A friend reccommended Minami's office and I scheduled an appointment. I was terrified going in and came out feeling so relieved and excited. Dr. Minami was soo calming and understanding of my anxiety. He talked me through everything and explained exactly what he was doing and made sure I was happy with the results before saying he was finished. He got me over my fear of the dentist and has a new permanent patient. I was so happy with the results, that I bragged to all my friends and told them to switch dentists immediately!
In addition, he was honest about what work needed to be done and didn't make up a problem that wasn't there.
I highly reccommend him for anyone, especially those people with severe dental anxiety

Dr.Minami has excellent chair-side manners. He is both friendly and personable as well as professional, working efficiently and keeping me informed throughout the procedure. The office itself is nice and the staff at the front desk are also pleasant. I would highly recommend this dentist to my friends.
