We had 3 surprise charges from this office in 2011. When we contacted the office trying to work with them to avoid them in the future, they kept saying that it is the patient's responsibility to find out whether your insurance company pay for your treatment. True, but they need to contact the insurance anyway, why cannot they send pre-approval to the insurance before any treatment like other dental offices to avoid such surprises and let patients make an informed decision? Why always wait till after the treatment to annoy your patients? The staff is nice when paying the bill, but can get really nasty when being challenged with the billing questions. They are not willing to help you to figure out the costs and involved procedure. My recommendation is AVOID this office if possible if you don't want to have a big surprise charge.

I know this doctor: 3 years

He told me that I had to replace prior dental work and wouldn't fix the issue that I had come in with. Told me i needed to replace teeth with implants or dentures. Was abrasive, not friendly. Went to another dentist who fixed everything and my mouth is pain free and beautiful...with all my real teeth! I would not recommend or trust this dentist. The reception staff was friendly. The office was typical - nothing fancy

I had dental work done by one of the Drs Devita. He failed to complete my work because in his opinion it was not necessary, (Refused to place a crown after root canal.) I eventually lost the tooth which required an excruciating 3 hours to remove what was left of the tooth, and eventual implant surgery. I won a malpractice suit against this group relating to this issue. I also found that he performed teeth cleanings in a very quick and not very thorough manner.
