Dr. Allen has been my dentist since 1978. His work has always been simply excellent and conservative. His recommendations have always been to equally fine practitioners. I wouldn't go to anyone else. In addition, he is a warm and caring person.

About Front Desk: Absolutely the best and completely responsive.

A friendly dentist with a panoramic view of Central Park but his work caused big problems. His work is rushed; you are in, you are out. He is not attentive to his work and mimics what the hygienist says.

A friendly dentist with a panoramic view of Central Park, but his work cost me and my family loss of teeth he would not fix plus a root canal and crown. His work is rushed; you are in, you are out. He is not attentive to his work and mimics what the hygienist says.

I am a dentist as well. When I needed a very large cavity, that was literally on top of the nerve filled, I went to Ken Allen. The treatment was painless, and I avoided a root canal thanks to his superior skill. He is literally a dentist that other dentists such as myself choose to go to.

I love visiting Dr. Allen. He's a great dentist, very professional and competent. He's a friend of my father who is a dental school professor and when I lived in NYC and needed a dentist, I asked my father and he referred me to Dr. Allen.

Dr. Allen is a solid and thorough dentist -- quite thorough, and pain-free. I saw him for quite a long time, and would have continued with him except he's not included in my latest plan. He tends to be expensive -- not surprising, considering his address. However, when I needed an implant, and the final bill turned out to be considerably more than their initial estimate (because their rates had gone up between the time I had the tooth extracted and when the implant went in), they were quite reasonable, and we came to an amicable agreement.

About Hygienist: Many over the years -- never had a bad experience.

He is such a pro and he is hilarious too. I, sadly, had to have 5 FILLINGS in the course of 3 months b/c I had avoided going to a dentist for 3 years. He actually made it kind of a pleasure!
