A Diplomat of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and one of New York City's experts on treatments for sleep apnea and snoring, Dr. Binder has over 17 years of experience treating sleep apnea. Dr. Binder also lectures on snoring and sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Binder received the Humanitarian Award from the New York Academy of Dentistry for his work in helping to identify victims of the 9/11 attacks.
Dr. Binder completed his undergraduate education at Washington University before receiving his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. His post-doctoral training included a residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx Municipal Hospital.
Teaching for over 25 years has allowed Dr. Binder to keep a finger on the pulse of new developments in the field, staying abreast of the latest treatments so he can offer patients the best dental care available.
David S. Binder DDS is a perfectionist who takes his time and makes sure that you're confortable every step of the way. Having had twelve years to see whether his work holds up, I can say that his luxury pricing is worth every penny, since I've never had to have any of his extensive work redone. (Not just crowns but fillings.)

Dr. Binder is exceptional. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but kind and gentle and explains all options. You will not find a better dentist.

Dr. Binder created a dental appliance for me to use while traveling in Africa. After 10 years of being tied to a CPAP, I am finally free. I sleep as well with the appliance as I do with CPAP, without the hassles and extra baggage. Dr. Binder and his staff are wonderful - deeply respectful, knowledgeable, and kind. I am so impressed and grateful.

While not utilizing Dr Binder for dentistry per se, I was indeed fortunate to have been recommended to him by the Mayo Clinci in Rochsester Minnesota where I had been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea
Since I did not have success with the conventional positive pressure masks used for this conditon, Dr. Binder was recommended for his success with custom mouth pieces used duriing sleep at night
The device has been very successful and Dr Binder was found to be extremely knowledgeable about this condition and its treatment.
I am completely satisfied with his care and have had the opportunity to recommend others to him who suffer with the same condition

Our family has had numerous different procedures done by Dr. Binder and we have had a great experience with every visit. We have even traveled to New York to see Dr. Binder for dental work when we lived in California, New Mexico and the Washington DC area. He is a kind, warm person and the office is beautiful.

Dr. Binder is gentle, knowledgeable, concerned, careful, ethical - and fixes the problem! He tells you what is going on, does not condescend or use jargon, gives you choices. He does not over-treat or push procedures on you which are not strictly necessary (unlike other NY dentists). His office is well-run by friendly, capable people. Being in midtown Manhattan, it is not cheap, but worth what you pay. And there's a nice view of Central Park.
