Once again, Dr. Mal Braverman came to my rescue! I just arrived home after a long, turbulent flight. During the turbulence, I must have clenched my teeth a bit too hard; and chipped two teeth. I was devastated. Naturally, I went to see Dr. Braverman, and he managed to fit me into his busy schedule right away. One of the very many reasons I am a long-time patient. He took time out to listen to my concerns and took care of the problem in no time at all. Best of all, it didn't even hurt.
A few years ago, the good doctor had made a night guard to keep me from clenching my teeth while sleeping. I'm very happy to say that this simple appliance did away with my TMJ (jaw pain) problem. I think I'll take this with me on my next flight.
While sitting in the dental chair, we discussed ways to enhance the appearance of my teeth. Dr. Braverman suggested a simple Zoom whitening process. As usual, his kind and efficient staff were very understanding of my erratic work schedule. We managed to schedule a whitening appointment. Visiting Cindy, the hygienist, is like seeing an old friend. She is extremely pleasant and best of all, did a fantastic tweaking of my pearly whites. I am completely thrilled.

General dentistry and veneers. Dental hygiene.
Here's what I look for in a practitioner. Nice, clean, relaxing office (super). Warm friendly calming greeting from dentist and staff (super). Listening to me (super). Careful and detailed explanation of treatment options (super). Efficient treatment, keeping in mind my busy schedule (super). Effective outcome (super). Followup (super).
Guess it all adds up to Dr. Braverman being a super dentist. Highly highly highly recommended by me.

I have known Dr. Braverman for over 20 years. Though I have seen other dentists due to closer locations or because they were cheaper, I have always found myself going back to him because he knows what he is doing - he is extremely competent. I trust him and always have. Though, I have strayed, I am greatful he takes me back after other dentist botch-ups. Lesson learned: You get what you pay for.
Dr. Braverman and his staff are skillful, knowledgeable, and amicable, everything is top notch. Your appointment time is your appointment time. Floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking Central Park. State of the art equipment to detect things other dentists can't because they don't have the equipment nor the skill set.
I have had everything from routine dental work to cosmetic work (cleanings, fillings, whitening, gum trim, bondings) but he is very strict about getting your mouth healthy first.
I am so very happy right now (again - its been 20 years of off and on visits) and not only is my mouth healthy, cosmetically -my teeth are perfect. Dr. Braverman - from the bottom of my heart - thank you. You can have 99 problems but guaranteed, your mouth will not be one.

A friend of mine became very concerned about the appearance of her teeth. As a child, she had taken tetracycline, which stained her teeth. I think she must have found the best dentist ever. At first I thought they had just been lightened, but while taking a closer look; I saw that the small irregularities had been corrected. She had gotten veneeers. The most natural I’ve ever seen!
So I decided to visit Dr. Mal Braverman on Central Park South. The staff was teriffic and didn’t keep me waiting. My teeth were stained mostly from tea and red wine. The doctor took the time to explain different options; since I had also taken tetracycline as a child. We both decided the Zoom whitening would be the best solution for me. Wow! Looks like all new teeth! Natural, of course – after all, they are my own – just whiter.
It was a very simple process, and I got a chance to know his teriffic staff. Well, Dr. Braverman is now my new dentist. He was kind, and did not take advantage. After all, I had asked him for his advice.
My friend thought I got veneers like she did, but after a closer look, she could see they were mine, just whiter. All in all, it was a teriffic experience with fabulous results. Couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Braverman is a wonderful dentist. I have been his patient for over 15 years and would recommend him to anyone looking for highly professional dental care. His office is inmaculately clean and his staff is very welcoming and efficient.
He did my veneer work which literally brought a smile to my face.
He is an excellent communicator with terrific bedside manner and explains the work to be done in detail and with great patience.
I recommend Dr. Braverman without reservation.

Finding a good dentist is just as difficult as finding a good mechanic, doctor or even a hair stylist. Mostly, I look for someone reliable, kind and professional and has me in mind when it comes to my needs and wants. People like this, are there for you when you need them; some, even to pass, good, customer service.
Well, Dr. Braverman is kind, professional and helped me when I really needed a good dentist.
I located him on the Internet - it showed Dr. Braverman's work on a smiling, satisfied patient that was on her way to the alter to be married. After I looked at the video, I saw a man that seemed dedicated to helping people in need and spoke without a hint of boldness. So, I came to his office, located at Central Park South in Manhattan to meet him. When I heard of the location, I thought this might be out of my anticipated funding. But I had to give it a try; it seemed to me that he might be what he appeared to be. The first meeting I was pleased with him and his staff. Over a year ago, I needed some mandatory dental work- He gave me a free consultation, with a plan that my pocket and mouth was able to accept. The plan called for two areas(upper and lower) that needed major work and the rest, some touch ups. As of today, I can gladly bite and chew without trauma. His clean office is great with a northern view of the park while comfortably listening to a wide variety of music- Dr. Braverman is gentle, an innovator and very friendly.
I would recommend Dr. Braverman to anyone that needs a great Dentist-

Dr. Braverman really is the best cosmetic dentist in NYC. I have had dental work done here more than once, both pain free and successful. I have also sent friends and family to Dr. Braverman for cosmetic work and they are all extremely happy with the results. If you're looking for the best in the business, call Dr. Braverman.

I have been searching for a good, honest and gentle Dentist in the NYC area for a long time. It was very exhausting and disappointing most of the time. I knew I had to keep looking because I was not satisfied with the care and treatment from other Dentist in my area. So, the mighty internet had a short video about Dr. Bravermans miracle work and the happy patient's before and after smile. I thought, this guy must be good and he spoke with a positive tone without any hint of arrogance. I made my appointment to have a free consultation with Dr. Braverman in 2010.
Dr. Braverman walked me through some options that satisfied my vision, my pocket and my search for a great Dentist. He was kind, straight forward, friendly and very positive about my needs and wants for dental care. His office at Central Park South has a great view of the park, along with a vast choice of music that can help and soothe your visit. His staff is helpful, considerate and friendly.
I have come to the right place for my present and future dental care needs. I give Br. Braverman and his staff- thumbs up!!!

I have had many years of progressively deteriorating enamel such that at the age of 36, I have no enamel left on the tops of my back teeth and my front teeth were so thin they were almost translucent and one had started to chip. My dentist downtown had estimated a full rebuild of my mouth at over $60,000 so I had avoided it for many years. Finally I couldn't wait any longer and searched for experts in the rebuild field for additional opinions. I'm so glad I found Dr. Braverman. Not only did Dr. Braverman inspire confidence that he had the knowledge and expertise to understand my rare condition and devise a solution, he was extremely patient in exploring and explaining ALL options available which ended up being a combination of various veneers, inlays, onlays, caps, etc. vs the full rebuild my 1st dentist wanted to do. Dr. Braverman explained how we culd still save most of my tooth structure in certain areas which not only helped save as much of my teeth as possible but also reduced the expese of what my 1st dentist estimated by over 50%. However, money is money, and NOTHING compares to what an artist Dr. Braverman is. My teeth look great now! I get random compliments from time to time that just make me smile =o)

I have been going to Dr. Braverman for all my dental needs for over 20 years, first as a young actress for cosmetic work including a complicated bridge, veneers and bonding. I had a beautiful smile on Broadway back then and ever since Dr. B. and his team of specialists have kept me smiling. I am very scared of dental pain, and I have never had a painful experience there. Recently I had to have root canal ..one of my biggest fears. The endodontist at the office, Dr. Fishman, completed the root canal without any pain, not even the novacaine needle hurt! Everyone at Dr. Braverman's office works hard to make my trips to the dentist easy and pleasant.
My mother has also been a patient of Dr. Braverman for years. She now suffers from Alzheimer's and the doctor and everyone in the office is so kind, caring and understanding of her deteriorating condition. It is so deeply appreciated by everyone in my family. I highly recommend Dr. Braverman and his entire team to everyone who wants healthy teeth and a beautiful smile :)
About Hygienist: Cindy Wagner ,Dr. Braverman's hygienist is the best I've ever had. She is gentle and my teeth always feel fantastic after I leave every time. She is especially sensitive to my fear of dental pain and she is just terrific at calmly and efficiently getting her work done without discomfort. She is a very sweet person too, which really helps me enjoy my cleaning visits.
