What happened to Nushi happened to me as well.
Dorfman removed a filing of mine needlessly and replaced it with a filling that fell out within two months of treatment. This resulted in tooth decay of a perfectly fine tooth. This dentist is a hack and a complete waste of time and money. Besides, that he get belligerent and nasty if he thinks that you do not want to pay for his bad work.

I have had numerous procedures done by Jeffrey Dorfman including cosmetic work, and cannot tell you enough how happy I am with the results.
The entire staff is exceptionally nice and professional, and Dr. Dorfman is simply the best at putting patients at ease and doing spectacular
work. I highly recommend Jeffrey Dorfman @ the Center for Special Dentistry for all of your dentistry needs.

In February of 2010, I noticed a growth in my lower lip and was unable to discern what is was. After scouring the internet, Dr. Dorfman's website came up and after a phone call and consultation, he told me he would be able to remove the growth, which he did quickly and successfully. As a result, I now go to Dr. Dorfman for all my dental needs. He does a thorough job, and photo-documents much of his work so that he and I can track the health of my teeth over time. I would recommend Dr. Dorfman to absolutely anyone who needs any sort of dental work done.
About Hygienist: Kathy - also very thorough, knowledgeable, gentle and excellent at what she does. As painful as going to the dentist can be, she has made the entire experience less so, if even a relaxing one.

Dr. Dorfman and staff are very courtesy and friendly. Dr Dorfman personally sees that all his patients are treated well and makes them feel very comfortable. He also sees that he talks with his patients on a one to one face discussion and makes sure that all of our questions are answered fully. I am extremely pleased with his work as well as the professionals working in his office. I would certainly recommend his services to everyone although I do have a concern that many would see him as very expensive. However, in my treatment and the services provided over the years,it was worth the money. Thank you Dr. Dorfman.
About Hygienist: The last two visits have been with a new Hygenist for regular cleaning. So far she has treated me with courtesy and it seems that she is fully knowledgeable in her area of expertise.

I have know Dr. Dorfman for 14 years and would never consider going anywhere else! Over the years,he has taken care of multiple fillings and caps with absolutely no pain. He is very gentle, caring and highly professional.His staff is also very supportive and are helpful with insurance paperwork. Dr. Dorfman has extensive knowledge and spends time teaching dental students and sharing his experience. I highly recommend Dr. Dorfman!

He made overt references to my period and was overly familiar. His cosmetic work was done by another Dr. in the office and broke within a month. They fixed the damage for free but the bonding broke again soon there after. This dentist is a hack and a complete waste of time.

Upscale Manhattan Dental Office. State of the art equipment. Professional and very personalized care. Fillings, bonding, root canal, costmetic surgery, oral surgery, periodontal and anything else you may require is perfectly and expertly done. Belives in pain free dentistry. Works very well with your insurance company, excellent front desk staff. Excellent dentist. Extremely pricey!
