Cares only about getting paid. He's not a dentist because he wants to help his patients feel better.

About Front Desk: Rude and actively unhelpful.

My Experience: Extraction

Went for check up for kids. They had no cavities and received certificates for free ice cream. Made an appointment for sealants. When I received the bill from the dr. office I questioned it because sealants are 100% covered by my plan. I checked beforehand to make sure sealants were covered. I called the office and they told me they found decay (never told to me at the office visit ) and billed me for 12 composite fillings between two children who have adult teeth. My other child who still has baby teeth got sealants. I asked why I was told their teeth were perfect and made an appointment for sealants and am charged for fillings. They kept telling me me that they took care of my children's teeth to the best of their capacity and never really provided a concrete answer. I asked why I was never told about decay and why they said they had no cavities. They just kept saying we did what we had to do to take care of the kids teeth. Still no concrete answer. I was so adamant about it they called me back and said they would zero balance me out because I was so upset. Sounds too fishy for me. Won't be going back. Wasn't pleased with the service of the office during visit and defintely not after either.

I have found Dr. Keren to be caring, thoughtful and intelligent. He has done fillings and restoration of crowns. There was minimal pain. He is not in a hurry and I have been taken promptly. Nothing ever had to be redone.

I just tried to get back to see Dr Keren after 3 years to find out that he has moved his practice to Long Island. Very good experience in the past with pain-free dental work. Some issues with crowns coming off after 1-2 years, but I think that that happens. Otherwise very reasonable care.

I went to this office because he was on my insurance plan and I was having extreme wisdom tooth pain and needed a referral to an oral surgeon. I was the only person in the waiting room and yet I waiting about a 1/2 hour. Then, I was put in a chair and waited there for about a 1/2 hour, not the greatest service there, especially since I was in great pain Then, when Doron came to see me he commented that I was coming to him on insurance and that he does not usually handle people with insurance--he was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable and unwanted. Then, after a 5-minute consultation, he referred me to a surgeon. Perhaps if you do not want "insurance people" you should not be signed up as an Aetna dentist, I am pretty sure you do that on your own accord. I would not recommend. His office was average, I was not impressed. Yours truly, Insurance patient
