Dr. Shapiro is a good dentist and a pleasure to deal with. His somewhat old-fashioned facility actually makes the experience more relaxed.

Pleasant demeanor, no waiting, dirty, shabby office. Not sure re: quality of treatment; recently saw another dentist who found several issues apparently not found by Dr. Shapiro.

I went for a regular cleaning. The office looks like it's straight out of the 70s as does the equipment. When I walked in I was told that another patient had taken my spot because I was 5 minutes late. There was no hygentist. The cleaning was painful and incomplete. I'm not sure, but I think that the dentist picked one of my sealants off. Since I have UFT dental insurance, the procedure cost nothing, but the service was terrible.
