I have to preface this with I haaate going to the dentist! The idea of someone digging around inside my head with sharp tools doesn't sit well with me. I had a cleaning and x-rays, and it was a really good experience, I generally leave most dentist appointments feeling violated and uncomfortable but this is one dentist I will be happy to go back to for my net check up. I didn't have to wait at all when I came for my appointment, that's another huge plus since most doctor's offices make patients wait for ages even when they come on time.

Dr. Sofer is the nicest dentist I have ever had. He makes me look forward to getting my teeth fixed. And he never tries to sell you on anything you don't need.

Dr. Sofer is very nice and polite. If you make an appointment he doesn't rush you and never over books clients so your scheduled time is always respected.

I've gone to Dr. Sofer for almost a decade. He made time to fit me in when I first moved to NYC and had a dental emergency. He has very up-to-date equipment and I've never been in pain there. He's also very knowledgeable and seems to be up on the latest dental advances. He doesn't scold or make people tense. All in all, a visit to Dr. Sofer is an extremely low-stress dental experience.

Dr. Sofer is a breath is fresh air. I have never received such personalized treatment both in hospitality and service. He takes his time in answering every one of your questions and never makes you feel uncomfortable or ashamed for whatever you choice you make. I have not had to wait to see him; an 11 am appointment is really at that time. I highly recommend this dentist!

Great description of possible treatments. He gives you the options you determine what fits you best. Answers questions with great detail and provides multitude of information. Friendly, proffessional. I changed a dentist due to a insurance switch but did not find anyone as good and as a result I am back with Dr. Sofer.

Dr. Sofer is great. He is very thorough and thoughtful. The attention you receive is outstanding. I avoided dentists for years, but I am actually looking forward to going back. I really appreciate his investment in what is important for his patients.
