I'm currently going through Invisalign to close my gap. And after only 2 months I can see a huge difference. I was so nervous but they made me feel so comfortable.

About Front Desk: All the women at the front desk are so understanding, as soon as I walk in they know my name. Jamiese, Fatima, Kat and Ann always take that extra moment to actually listen even if its not related to my teeth.

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: I have seen both Golnaz and Avalene. And they are super amazing and patient. I'm extremely sensitive to the point that I have to be numbed for a simple cleaning and they never made me feel like I was a pain in the neck.

Hygiene time: 60

I know this doctor: 7 months

Beautiful facility, spa like, clean, BUT!!!! he's extremely expensive and always makes me wait. His assistants are great and nice to talk to, thank goodness because you don't feel to be his top priority like his dogs are and you're just stuck there forever. Bottomline, its beautiful but you need more than that man

I've been to this dentist a few times and every time i'd leave his office, I'd feel either totally ripped off. Although his office is state of the art, it just felt like they were trying to sell me on all these unnecessary things like whitening (my teeth are already very white), switching metallic for white fillings and it wouldn't be so bad if his prices weren't so obscene. When I first walked out of there, (i'm young, in good health, and have seen a dentist regularly my whole life, have had braces, etc. so my teeth are in great condition), my 'treatment plan' was almost $20K. Thank god I asked. It looks like I will be finding a new dentist very soon. These prices were so astronimical even compared to other NYC dentists. I was appalled but I guess somebody's gotta pay for that gorgeous office / living space of his.

Very shady billing practices! Dentist accepts insurance but tries to bill patients at wildly inflated rates - whatever is not reimbursed by insurance will show up on your bill. In the time that I was treated here I never received a single bill - after several requests for a bill I was given a print out in the form of a running list of credits and debits. What really clinched it was a temporary crown on a front tooth that fell out after adhering for just two weeks. I had the doctor re-glue it, for which he charged me - and two weeks later it fell off again. Each visit seems to cost me $700. I finally had enough and went looking for another dentist. I will say one thing though, his office is beautifu, with top of the line equipment.

WORST DENTIST EVER! Do not go to him. He actually left a piece of cotten in a root canal he gave me, yelled at me when I would yelp in pain and walk away during procedures when even the hygenist were rolling their eyes. AVOID at all costs!

Performed root canal and filled hole with gray filling despite the fact I have tooth colored fillings on all my teeth! I went back a couple of days later and had a tooth-colored filling done (at no charge). Placed bonding material on one tooth that lasted two weeks. Granted, it was probably my fault that it deteriorated since I use a Sonicare tooth brush. However, instruction on how to care for the tooth would have been prudent. Dr. Solomon did say he guaranteed his work, but considering the other problem I had with him, I just didn't trust his work and didn't feel like wasting my time. I need professionals who are proactive and value my time--especially since I don't have dental insurance!

Not sure he knows what he is doing although the staff is very friendly and the office is very nice.
