Dr. Vogel was an old-fashioned dentist. He used a polish to clean my teeth and instructed me to "spit out." (He did not have a "saliva ejector.") He terminated the treatment when he felt I needed more high power dentistry and referred me to someone young and high power.
He is probably a good dentist for patients who want someone very low key. He does not push, and does not tell the patient they have decay when there is none.
He has no secretary, so his prices are low.

In my opinion, Dr. Vogel is a very nice man, probably a good dentist years ago, but someone who should no longer be practicing dentistry. He is in his mid-to-late eighties and runs his office without any support staff. He answers his phone himself while he's working on you. He did a crown that was too large for my mouth, which changed my bite and caused a molar to crack. I've been in pain ever since. Every filling that he did has fallen out. I'm facing many thousands of dollars to correct the problems he caused. The person who recommended him to me has had similar problems.
