Dr. Boretz is one of the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.. I've had many procedures over the years and only 3 great doctors. I was so stressed thinking about the visit until the first injection. I didn't feel the needles & that has never happened before. he removed 8 teeth so far & takes the time to ask if I'm ok as he is working. I left the office laughing. good man, good heart. thank you doc....

I never had the pleasure or displeasure of being treated by this, my family dentist. Read below and see why.

About Front Desk: I called my brand new dentist in late August 2014 all excited about being able to have my work done. AUGUST!! It took TWO WEEKS, (now, it was mid September) to get through to the doctors office and make an appointment, and not because any of my calls were returned. It was AFTER I actually got in my car and drove to the office, wondering if perhaps my insurance carrier was incorrect and this doctor had moved or something because he sure was not responding to any of the messages I'd left within a two week span and there was obviously something wrong here. I walked in to find an empty office and a mature front desk person smiling into her phone, apparently more absorbed with her cat selfies than in lifting her head from her phone to greet a client that has just walked for over an uncomfortable amount of time in OR in returning client's call backs. I said so too. 'I've been trying to get through to this office and I thought perhaps you had moved or were no longer practicing. I've waiting for your return call for weeks'! What happened?" That's not ok! The person just brushed it under the rug, no apologies WHATSOEVER. Very "yeah, yeah, f.u. whatever" vibe. "It's NOT what one says that matters, its how your client is left feeling". I was feeling that this person did NOT appreciate her job nor could she care less for any new business or maintaining any sense of professionalism, IMHO. FU is an accurate testimony, unfortunately. Please note, I told her on my messages and while in front of her again that I would be moving out of state at the end of December and I had been told that I would be needing a full-scale deep cleaning. The woman told me she had to check her patient ledger to see if my name was on it as being a patient of record. I HAD ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF THIS WITH MY INSURANCE PROVIDER before contacting them. Despite that, she said I wasn't on her list and would have to call them back and have them fax over proof. I did this as soon as I returned home. The insurance provider confirmed that they would be sending Dr. Boretz the confirmation. Don't expect a confirmation call as all doctors offices do, from Dr. Boretz. You will never receive one. I arrived close to an hour early TODAY knowing there would be paperwork to fill out. I was fine w waiting. What I was NOT prepared for was having the same assistant tell me again: "let me check my list, nope, you're not on the list, you have to call them and tell them to fax this confirmation. DO YOU THINK THAT ON THE WHOLE TWO MONTHSTHAT SHE HAD, THAT KNOWING YOU HAVE A NEW PATIENT COMING I , YOU'D HAVE YOUR PAPERWORK READY. ... I spent the entire hour and THEN SOME on the phone with the Insurance Provider trying to get someone to confirm that this had already been done, AND IT HAD. I WAS DOING THIS WOMANS JOB FOR HER. I was being placed on half an hour holds doing HER JOB. She asked me to please "settle down" when I asked the Insurance company WHAT was taking them so long, so, I left the premise to complete the call. When I returned, she told me I'd missed my appointment and I would have to reschedule. It gets better. I paid $25.00 to my last dentist to secure the up-to-date xray films. I gave this packet (yellow manila folder) to this woman the day I drove over to see if this doctor really did exist. At first, she didn't want to take them and when I asked her if she could please place them in the file she was going to build for me, so, she said: "oh, alright, I don't normally do this. I'll put it in there." Today, she told me she never kept files and did not have my films. Had I known this "disaster" of an employee was SO inexplicably inept, I would have asked for a receipt or filmed this because you just can't make this up. GO TO A REAL DENTIST. THIS OFFICE IS A SHAM AND A SHAME.
