I am 71 years old and Dr. Whitley is only the second dentist I've ever had. I consider him a friend as well as my dental professional. He has done all my twice-yearly exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, 3 crowns and a permanent retainer. His office is modern and up-to-date and, as it was formerly a residence, is totally non-intimidating as a regular office might be. His office staff is professional, caring and efficient. I totally trust his judgment and have actually had him decline to do a procedure that he didn't consider necessary in favor of a more conservative approach which I much appreciated both financially and comfort-wise. He is very cognizant of his patients' comfort and if not providing a local or regional (which is always left up to the patient's final decision) medication, is always aware of how much discomfort the patient is experiencing and willing to administer the needed analgesic. Costs are reasonable and payment, depending on the situation, can sometimes be arranged over a short period of time. Most insurance, I believe, is accepted. All staff members are cordial, efficient, gentle and calm. Most have been with him for years and work very well as a team. I would highly recommend Dr. Whitley.

About Hygienist: Jane has been with Dr. Whitley for many years, knows most of his long-term patients and is an asset to his office. She is gentle, efficient, knowledgeable and doesn't expect you to chat while her fingers are in your mouth. :-)
