I liked Dr. Wayne at first. He wasn't all that friendly but he was thorough. In my experience it has been hard to find a dentist with a good chair-side manner. After a root canal done by another doctor, Dr. Wayne popped off the crown so that he could do the permanent filling and cement the crown. While he still had the crown out, he told me it would cost about $300 and how was I paying for it. Without my crown, I had to call my husband and track down some money. They wanted it up front but when my card wouldn't allow half the payment, the receptionist quietly told me she would bill me for the rest. During the procedure I was cringing (not jerking or anything). He got very frustrated and asked why I was moving when it didn't hurt. I said it kind of hurts, he said that's impossible and made me feel like a moron. Turns out the other doctor had missed a nerve, so it did hurt. I have not gone back to Dr. Wayne.
