Dr. Ostrowski has left the Cleveland Clinic and is now in practice with Dr. Salvatore Esposito and another dentist. Their office is on Park East Drive near Richmond and Chagrin.
I have seen Dr. O and Dr. E twice each. Both of them have great chair-side manners and provide a great deal of detail if asked (I always ask). Dr O has done a couple of fillings for me. I did not even feel the anesthetic injection, and he had to do several. I have been very pleased with the dental care I have received here.
BUT the practice is not a participating provider in any dental plan. Their top-notch office staff will submit claims to primary and secondary insurance plans, however.
The office staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The office itself is new, well-organized, and attractive.
I would stay with this practice permanently except for the fact that they do not participate in my (or any) dental plan. It's just getting too expensive. I don't think their prices are unreasonable; however, a non-covered dentist can get expensive very quickly even if you have only a few fillings a year.
About Hygienist: The hygienist's name is Joanie, I believe. She is thorough yet gentle, experienced, and extremely pleasant to be with. Being in my mid-40s, I have been to many dentists up and down the East Coast. I would say that Joanie is the best hygienist I've ever had.
