Dr Dugan wanted to remove a filling for no good reason other than to "see" if anything was wrong because I was having sensitivity issues and X-rays were showing no signs of anything wrong.
I knew if I had approved the filling removal because the fill was so deep he would have no other choice but to do a root canal and cash in on a crown.
He is a money grabber dentist with no care for your mouth. I would not recommend Dr. Dugan to anyone if you want to keep your teeth.

Dr. Dugan has been our family dentist for several years. We think he is the greatest ever. Procedures have included crowns, veneers, root canals, cavity care, everything you could ask a dentist to do. We have been completely pleased with his work, He has great chair-side manners, always takes time to ask about the family and chat about everyday matters. The office workers are great about handling insurance or billing questions. We can and do recommend him to family and others looking for a good dentist.

The bad- Dr Dugan seems to be more about chastising his adult patients for cavities than he is about helping restore their smile. He seemed very judgmental and lacked compassion and tact.
The good- The facility is decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. They will work with you on making payments if necessary. The Dr did would call and follow up with you after a procedure to make sure that you were doing ok.
Bottom line- I would recommend this Dr. if you have near perfect teeth or don't care about being reprimanded like a child.
About Hygienist: His hygienist was compassionate and kind.

I have been going to Dr. Dugan for over 20 years. He is an excellent dentist. He and his staff take great care in serving their patients.
