Front staff was nice. Hygienist was ok. Dr. Garzon told us there were multiple cavities, surprising us bc our 3yo child had no complaints and we brush his teeth, and would have to undergo general anesthesia for work. due to his age and medical situation, I was nervous. the following week, at my dentist, I asked if they put kids under, they said no, if they don't do well, we send them to a pediatric dentist. they recommend I bring him in to see how bad the cavities were & how he would react. I did. After looking at the X-rays and doing an exam, the dr said, he'd do fine without being put under, but that there were no cavities. since then, I have heard other horror stories from friends regarding dr Garzon.

Condenceding dentist and rude staff. Gave us a quote on my child's dental care. Went to another dentist and the quote was $400 less. I should have checked the reviews first. I don't recommend this dentist at all!

About Hygienist: Dental Hygienist was great.

The first appointment I was blindsided with the urgency of getting cavaties worked on. She wanted to do root canals on my daughter and said it was urgent. I had a hard time spending that much money on baby teeth, so I opted to wait and see. Six months later she has not had a problem or pain with those teeth. The office staff seemed friendly.

BEWARE! The work on my daughter's tooth needed replaced within 2 months of the filling! The office staff is completely unorganized. The insurance clerk misquoted our insurance coverage 3 times. In the end, we got a bill for $100+ that our insurance wouldn't cover because the procedure was deemed unnecessary. Plus, her work is twice as expensive as any other dentist weve gone to! We are going back to the Dental Depot from now on!

I took my 5 year old kid because I was told that she was good. However, the staff was not profesional at all. They wanted to take more xrays even when my previous dentist was going to fax them. The staff said they didn't get anything. In the meantime the staff were talking about me in the front desk where I was able to hear, so I went to them and asked them: Is there any problem? they said no. Then, I said go ahead an take the xrays while I called my previous dental office they sent the xrays twice, so the Doctor came, angry, laughing about the xrays with her staff, she had no patient with my son. The worst thing was when she was tring to explain to me the treatment I was confused about what she called "nerve treatment" and I asked: Do you mean root canal? and instead of explained to me again she told me VERY rude; Aren't you paying atention of what I said?. I told you already, that's when I knew I didn't wanted to go back again there. The last thing when the staff was trying to make me sing a payment plan for the service before leaving, but I was sure in my heart that I didn't want to go there again. Nobody should be treated like that. She was disrespectful and the staff unproffessional

watch out for their billing practices! The doctor is good and thorough, however she will charge you for EVERYTHING under the sun and if you disagree, you are ruining your child's teeth. If you agree, she wants cash UP FRONT - "I don't care about insurance, I want cash baby!"

I chose Dr. Garzon because her web page touted that she was interested/trained in working with autistic children. Needless to say, I will never return, nor will I ever refer her to another parent. The office and dental staff were absolutely amazing, concerned with my child's experience, patient, etc. Dr. Garzon on the other hand, was extremely brusque, and it is very unfortunate that her staff's demeanor has not managed to rub off on her. There is no way that I would ever bring my severely autistic son to see her, she couldn't even handle my high-functioning 6 yo's behavior~which I might add was exceptional on this particular day!! On top of it, I have 9 years experience as a dental assistant, so I do have some clue as to what to expect from a caring dentist. I'm sorry to say that I will continue searching for a dentist that can deal with my son's oral needs as well as the physical problems that sometimes get in the way.

Dr. Garzon is the best pediatric dentist. Her office is really kid-friendly. My children love her and the staff. She even provides extensive dentist surgery with general anesthesia. It is really a great place.
