My husband and I moved to the area recently, and picked Dr. Templeton after some research. None of our friends or neighbors had much enthusiasm for their dentists. We were looking for an someone with credentials from good schools and lots of experience with people likely to have dental problems.
So far we are quite happy. The staff are pleasant and attentive, the dental assistants seem skilled. Dr. Templeton does his own cleaning, thorough but without the jerking that feels like the hygenist is trying to pull your teeth out. His equipment is up-to-date.
I had one cavity filled - a little thing that turned out to be fairly extensive up under a crown. It was painless, mostly thanks to the root canal in that tooth. Dr. & assistant were responsive, and answered my question about future lifespan of that tooth with fact-based reassurrance.
The Dr. is very aware of costs, and is working with me to keep X-ray costs (and exposure) down.
