I have had Dr. Carothers do two molar crowns. Generally, care was excellent. I would have no reservations recommending him to others. He discourages mercury amalgams but is not fanatical about it, ie. he did not suggest I have all the mercury in my mouth removed. He has the courage to not promote reckless Dental Association dogma about mercury being okay in your mouth.
The practice is friendly, up-to-date and especially friendly.
About Hygienist: I have had two cleanings. The first by ultrasound vibration and a little rough but maybe this was necessary. I cannot reliably judge.

Very Friendly Staff - Drinks and refreshments are comp and dentists wife even took my wife to the Max twice because I had to leave early for work. My wife thought the person was too rough when cleaning teeth but the dentist is good and uses new technology such as video cams to look at teeth. We no longer see them because it was too far to drive.

I took my 8-year old to this office for emergency treatment and was very pleased with the result. The office was clean and organized, the staff were pleasant and helpful and seemed very competant. The doctor was friendly, quick and very good at working with children. I will take my children back to this office for care and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
