I am fortunate to have found Dr Dougherty...he is extremely knowledgeable in every area of dental care I have needed. Instead of replacing my bridge he suggested that I get an implant. It was a long process but worth the time. Plus I have had problems w/TMJ and he designed a night "splint" that I wear to keep me from grinding my teeth while sleeping. The splint is much like a retainer and easy to wear and care for, plus no more jaw popping.

I love Dr. Doughtery and all of his staff. They are gentle and great listeners. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to my appts, because he takes care of my teeth! Absolutely wonderful!

Very knowledgable, gentle, patient dentist in private practice. Also an orthodontist, practicing a European method which advocates tooth movement but not tooth extraction. This method results in far less chance of later tooth movement, greater stability of teeth overall. Dr. Dougherty has been our dentist for nearly 20 years and he's just awesome.
