I adore her. She has been compassionate, works well with individuals interested in alternative health, makes clear cost-benefit analyses, and is the person our daughter wishes were her godparent
About Hygienist: Paige is part of the team; always professional, interesting, and a superb hygienist

Dr. Kierkegaarde is a very skilled dentist, but I found her unbearable as a person. She is very conceited and brags about herself. She insists on treatment plans that are not covered by insurance and takes x-rays too often, which are again not covered by insurance. She also says terrible things about other area dentists. Very unprofessional.

If you are looking for a family dentist that can meet every family members needs this is the place to go to. I found that they were willing to bend over backwards for me when scheduling and in the case of emergencies. Also I waned to note that Dr. Kirkegaarde is in practice with her husband, Dr. Wilson and both hold very high standards as dentist. Overall, I am very please with the treat and I truly feel that they care about me and my overall well being.

Great dentist with excellent bedside manner. Always made me feel comfortable, has great assistants, and uses state of the art equipment. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kierkegaard (and Dr. Wilson as well) are two of the best dentists in Portland. Dr. K in particular has the most pleasant "chairside" manner. She remembers personal details about her patients, even if you've only seen her once or twice, she makes you feel like you're an old friend. The cost seems about average, my insurance never turns anything down for being excessive. The hygenists are all wonderfully pleasant, too. It is always easy to schedule an appointment, whether it's for a regular cleaning or an emergency toothache. Dr. Wilson has given me 2 (!) root canals, and he always lets me know it's ok to call day or night with any problems. I highly recommend this office! Our whole family goes regularly.
