Since I met Dr. Sono in 1985 I've gone nowhere else and couldn't be happier! Excellent work. Time flies as he regales you with stories, that if half of them are true, you realize he could be anything he wants: nuclear scientist, world famous celebrity, international spy ... but he practices dentistry 'cuz he's so good at it and he loves humans of all stripes and attitudes !!!

About Front Desk: Jenny and Amber are so polite and careful that they're a joy to be around. Really smart too. Dr. Reid bounces ideas and questions to them all the time, and they answer like a boss!

I've gotten all the general dentistry, plus (in the past) root canal, and extraction. His personality is enough to keep you coming back. He Cares. His excellent results and modest prices seal the deal. I recommend him to everybody, and have sent him more than one returning customer.

I have had nothing but great success with Dr. Sono when he did my false teeth the pain was minimum and the cost was very reasonable. The replacement teeth were of the highest quality. I would highly recommend Dr. Sono to all of my friends.

I live in Texas now but fly up to Reid's office in Portland twice a year to get dental work done. I went through five dentists down in Texas, and I don't like any of them so I keep going back to Reid.

Dr. Sono is the first dentist that I have gone to that didnt want to drill away my teeth with filling and crowns. I initially went to him as a referral by my osteopath doctor. He is generous in payment plans and reasonable, competitive rates. When I broke a tooth he was very helpful and available after hours for the repair. He also is honest in his referrals of other dental work needed that he is unable to do. He is a great dentist. I would recommend Dr. Sono to anyone who is in need of gentle care, saving teeth, and looking for affordable dental work.

Constant problem. He talks way too much. By the time I'm ready to leave I'm exhausted and my ears are ringing. Constant chatter - most of it is supposed to be funny. He is irreverent since I've asked him as politely as possible to hold the chatter to a minimum He's not as thorough as he used to be. He missed a filling. I am no longer impressed.

Because I needed cost effective dentistry I was recommended to Dr. Sono. The office was very shabby but the dental work was even worse. He did a half root canal and then placed a temporary filling and then had his staff leave me a voicemail saying that he could not finish the root canal because he couldn't find the root and that I should call in for a referral to an endodontist. I called repeatedly for the referal but always got voice mail and never received a call back with a referal. My tooth ended up breaking with an exposed root and I had to have it pulled out. I am extremely disappointed in the 'care' I received from Dr. Sono and his staff.

Dr. Sono has been our family dentist since I was little. He is quick, thoughtful, skilled, and hillarious. I've never had so much fun at the dentist and felt so completely comfortable.
