I had been going to Dr. Cohen's in Glenside for over three years and was happy with the practice. I had previously seen Dr. Sopinsky and back then Denise, Katie, and the rest of the staff were friendly and professional--my ratings do not reflect their work, but what this office has become recently (Basically Dr. Cohen seems to have sold his entire practice, including his clients, to a young doctor who cannot have more than a couple years of experience. This was done deceptively, in an effort perhaps to deceive patients and keep them "faithful")
About Front Desk: I have to admit that given the kind of situation they're in, the fornt desk staff has been really great--it's certainly not fair for them to have to deal with patients who will obviously be confused and upset.

About Hygienist: The most recent hygienist (obviously a recent trainee) scraped my teeth so hard that some of my bonding came off--and it was not replaced. The past hygienists were very good.

Please avoid this doctor at all cost.
Said I needed 6 fillings. Got a second opinion, didn't need any of the fillings. This is a swindling doctor.

Unprofessional complains about other patients. Had pain in my tooth for 1 month, sat in the chair for an hour before he realized he needed to look at my new "high" crown

I got a pretty good cleaning however the negatives definitely outweigh the positive of the cleaning. The hygenist was very crabby but did a decent job cleaning. There was a hard sell on zoom whitening, flouride, invisiline and oral cancer screening all at high out of pocket costs. The whole office is hostile and I think it is because they deal with unsatisfied patients all day. Not sure why anyone would go back. They will take 40 x-rays if you let them. One big money-grab.
About Hygienist: Pretty good job cleaning but unpleasant disposition.

Terrible experience.Dr. Cohen was in such a rush and actually drilled the wrong tooth believe it or not! He then denied the release of xrays for the insurance company.Very shady.AVOID!!!!!

Very nice doctor, clean office, does great work, a little pricey but you only get what you pay for.
