Dr. Michael Belder was very nice to me, however, my concern- after my husband, my daughter and I saw him, was that unnecessary dental work was being pushed on us. I felt as though they were pushing procedures on us just to make money. Since I had this uneasy feeling, I began to research reviews online for Dr. Belder, and would you believe I found other reviews that accused their offices of pushing procedures only to make money!? I would highly suggest that you do NOT use this dentist!
About Hygienist: I cannot remember the names of the hygienists that we saw, but they were recommending unnecessary dental work, as well.

Mr. Belder is absolutely awful. The office was messy and there was a weird smell to the waiting room. The staff was OK. I was taken 45 minutes late. Being a first time customer, this leaves a bad impression. Then, "Dr." Belder was short and rushed through the appointment. He didn't take the time to introduce himself or get to know me as a patient. Apart from that, his hands smelled like gasoline or something I cannot quite put my finger on. When I got home, my teeth still had some plaque on them, so the cleaning was not done thoroughly. I will never go back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Absolutely awful. Rude and a cheat. Do not go here. All he cares about is money. I will never go back!

Had invisalign procedure. Took about 3 years, but end result was pretty good. The office worked out a payment plan since insurance didn't cover it. Chair-side manners are good. Office staff very friendly too. Would recommend this dentist.
About Hygienist: Lena does a great job cleaning my teeth! She is very thorough and very friendly! Would recommend her!

Dr. Belder and staff try to convince you that the services (that are usually not covered by the insurance) are desparetly needed for you. Although I think otherwise. They are just trying to get cash out of you for services that are not needed.

I be going to Dr. Belder for several years ever three months. Ever visit I was told everthing looks good. (spent over 10,000 dollars)Due to trouble with the office staff I changed dentist. My new dentist told me I have gum desease and refer me to a Periodontist, I now might lose my teeth due to the incompenentce of Dr. Belder.
About Hygienist: Same as above, never metioned any gum problems. Just took my money.

Advanced Dental installed a crown and upon inspection found it to be too small. Instead of paying for a replacement we were told that we were going to have to again for the same procedure with a different size crown. When we became frustrated he blamed the situation on us.
At other times we have found that we are hurried along after cleanings in order to pack the next paying customer into the chair - the dentist has no time to be friendly and take care of his customers.

Dr. Belder is an OK Dentist, but I wish I would have begun my invisalign treatment with someone else. I ask questions about my treatment and what to expect, etc. and all I ever hear from him is "don't worry about it". Well, I like to be an informed patient and have been extremly disappointed in Dr. Belder's response to my inquiries. I have a friend who also has invisalign and I learn more from her (through what her Dentist has told her) than I would ever come close to with Dr. Belder!
I've looked at transfering my invisalign treatment to another dentist, but was told I would need to pay again. Unfortunately, that is not an option for me as I've already paid Dr. Belder $4,000...

Dr. Belder is a great dentist but he has a horrible staff billing and front desk. They are very unorganized.
