On first visit I was told cost of crown would be $938.00. Before my second visit I received billing statement for the amount of $938.00. On my second visit before procedure complete I had to pay office $469.00. I noticed on the billing statement that they estimated my insurance payment to be $422.00. I contacted Aetna and I was told that they mailed him a check for $714.00. Therefore, he received $1,283.00 for one simple crown. I asked Dr. Rickards if I was going to receive back the additional $245.00 and he was nasty and said NO. He also ripped the temporary crown from my mouth so hard that the build up broke off. I highly advise that you shop around for a more reasonable dentist. I found a dentist right down the road, who did my next crown for $400.00 total. This dentist was only concerned with his pocket book and not demonstrating the integrity of returning my money. BEWARE
About Front Desk: They were friendly on initial visit but once I discovered their billing errors, they ignored me upon the final visit. How SAD.

Dr Rickards is very caring and patient. With my daughter's braces, I was able to make payments for two years interest free. I've had root canal done and it was pain free. I would highly recomend Dr Rickards to anyone.
About Front Desk: Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They are concerned for their patients.

The doctor is excellent. Beware of the billing clerk. Is clueless and will try too overcharge you, even though in my case they where suppose to take what the insurance paid.
