When I turned 18 years old, due to my mom's employer dental coverage I had to give up MY denist, Dr. Korenman. I was not pleased by that situation. I was able to return to Dr. Korenman just last July 2011 because my dentist's office, Katsur Dental on the Southside, did not have common courtsey to inform me and three other people that they were closed the day of my (our) appointment. So by some miracle, I was fortunate to be able to come back to Dr. Korenman. Believe it or not Dr. Korenman not only remembered me, but he also remembered my mom. Also, this year (2012) my employer dental plan change from United Condoria to Humana. Dr. Korenman signed up to be able to accept their plan also. What else can I ask for? No, the facilities are not like a health spa, but it has everything that I need.

After moving to Pittsburgh my wife and I were looking for a new dentist. She had previously used Dr Korenman when she lived in Pittsburgh 20 plus years ago so I thought why not. Well much to my pleasure, Dr. Korenman is a very sincere and caring dentist unlike some doctors can be. His staff is wonderful also with their caring attitude. At my six month annual check up in Florida the hygienist was very rough and took a long time to clean my teeth, but here at Dr. Korenmans office the hygienist is very gently.
Now I am an exception to the normal person, since I only have only two cavities and little or no plaque but I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Korenman to anyone including my son who is so afraid of the dentist.
The billing couldn't have been easier. I gave the staff my insurance information and they took care of the rest.
About Hygienist: The hygienist's at Dr. Korenman's office are wonderful, gentle and so caring about you.

Dr. Korenman is very pleasant and always asks about me and what I have going on. He remembers what I tell him and asks for updates. I have only gone for regular cleanings and I have dental insurance, so I do not know how much it would cost someone who does not or who has to get further work done. I asked about pricing for teeth whitening and it is very affordable, I am planning on receiving that treatment at my next visit. He does a good job and my teeth feel great afterwards. He has a phone service for when his office is closed, and the lady who works the front desk during normal business hours is very helpful and nice.
About Hygienist: Very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything they would do, and I felt that she really tried to get to know me. She has been there for several years, so she is experienced. She is very gentle and thorough with the cleaning, so Dr. Korenman usually does not have much to do (for a cleaning) after she is done. She does a great job.
