Expert in his field, seems highly competent. Did 3 surgeries and all of them had successful outcomes, though he did not accurately describe the level of pain and discomfort during the recovery period. Very busy and sought after surgeon so you need to schedule procedures well in advance.
He is very knowledgeable and answers questions thoughtfully but he always is in a rush to move on to his next patient and his chair-side manner leaves something to be desired.

Great dentist. I have always been very afraid of the dentist, but Dr. Pogrel laid all my fears to rest. Very professional, careful, and helpful. I have never felt any pain from the procedures

In 1986 I contacted Osteomylitis of the lower mandable and Dr M. Anthony Pogel did my surgeries to restore my lower mandable. The reconstruction took 4 years to complete. It has been 16 years since I received my implants and the teeth are still looking nice. People always compliment me on my beautiful teeth, not knowing most of my lower teeth are implants..
