I was herded in and out like cattle to a round-up. The hygienist had no idea what she was doing and she had no idea what T.M.J.was.
Dr. Turner gave me a very hurried examination and then told me that I would have to talk to her "Business Manager"about what my insurance would and wouldn't cover. After several excruciating minutes with "the Business Manager", I got my hat and coat and left feeling I had just escaped "a used car lot"after being chastised and tortured !
I've experienced professional and polite "dental care " for over 60 odd years in four different time zones by a a number of Dentists. Some were better than others, but I've never had the kind of uncourteous treatment that I received at Dr.Turner's office.
THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T CARE, SO DON'T GO THERE !!!

Dr. Turner was my dentist when I was on TennCare and dentistry was a covered benefit.
I take good care of my teeth but i do known that crowns and fillings need to be replaced when they wear out, so I consented to what, in retrospect, appears to be more dental work than i needed.
When TennCare no longer covered dental work I sought out Dr. Norman Cohen (since retired) who took over the practice of my former dentist on his his retirement and the first thing Dr. Cohen said when he examined me was "I hate to ever criticize a colleague's work, but..."
Just today, Dr. Radu Pop (Dr. Cohen's fine successor) had to replace a crown. This did not go routinely and it was not the first time my time of poor and unnecessary dental care resulted in "the gift that keeps on giving."
About Hygienist: Unfortunately, I quickly sized up this practice as one practicing race-based "reverse discrimination."

My experience with Dr. Turner was amazing. I was nervous, but after talking with her, she made me feel very comfortable. The staff was excellant!!! They know how to make you feel relaxed.

We were new to the area. A church member referred us to Dr. Turner and we were beyond pleased. Wonderful staff, great service.

I gave this office a 3/4 for treatment success- I would have given a 4 because the office is really great, but the lab that did my crown, maybe not so much. My permanent crown cracked after 1 week, but Dr. Turner's office was fantastic in facilitating getting a replacement at no extra cost to me.

The office and facilities are top-notch -- clean and bright -- in contrast to the outside of the office which seemed a bit dodgy...
Everyone (hygenists and receptionists included) was very pleasant, courteous, and efficient. I really appreciated when Dr Turner helped me understand what was/was not covered by my insurance, and what procedures she had to perform.
Unfortunately, she's not on my new dental plan... otherwise I'd go back. I recommend her.

Overall an okay experience. My dental hygienist was nice and patient.Dr Turner was a littlie too preoccupied.
