Dr. Purtell and his staff are tops on the list of care, courtesy, professionalism, friendliness and putting the patient first. Dr. Purtell practices conservative dentistry, doing the work that needs to be done but not attempting a procedure just because it "might" solve the problem. He is very sensitive to patients' levels of pain tolerance, always looking to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible. My family & I have been going to him for 20 years for twice a year and have always received consistently good dental care.

I recommend Dr. Purtell's office to anyone! The gentle, professional care is excellent. The whole office staff become your friends as well as your dental care professionals.
About Hygienist: I've seen several of his hygenists through the years and only once in 15 years had a negative experience which was a personality issue, not an issue of ability on the hygenist's part. They all gave a thorough cleaning, were engaging gentle.

Cost is reasonable esp. for this area, dentist is caring and a good listener (excellent chair-side manner), staff/hygienists are caring. A very good experience.

The most amazing dentist I have ever gone to! Will go to no one else. Even when I moved away, I made the 2 hour drive to see only him.

Having been from a family of dentists in philadelphia, I wanted the best of dental care here in Arizona. A friend refered me to Dr Purtell, and I have been with him ever since (over 12 years). He is awsome, honest and more concerned about your teeth then your money...don't get me wrong, he does charge for his work....but he is worth every penny... his staff is great and very accomodating. I really can't say anything bad...I've never had a problem in over 12 years!

Dr. Purtell is a pro!! Great team, very friendly. They always make you feel welcome. Very comfortable and relaxed atmoshphere. I highly recommend him to any one in search of a new dentsist. Not only does he do a spectacular job, he also treats you like a friend...not a petient.
