Creepy doesn't even begin to cover it. I'm stunned by how awful this office was. You (the parent) must sit through an insulting, laminated, flip-book presentation of how Mountain Dew amounts to a stack of 50 sugar cubes. Even if you don't give your children soda, cookies, and pudding (my todder has had none of these things)--you STILL must sit through the presentation while the creepy-grinning dentist talks to you in a patronizing voice like you just fell off the turnip truck. It gets worse from there. they will pressure you to have your two-year-old zapped with a bunch of x-rays, which is NOT standard care. I wasn't comfortable exposing my toddler to that much radiation at this time, so I politely asked if I could think about it and re-visit the issue at the next appointment six months from now. They said that would be fine. A few days later, I got a passive-aggressive termination letter in the mail. Overall, the office is gimmicky with lots of grubby toys and electronic games. If you try to participate in your child's care in any way--whether it be asking quetions, or asking for permission to delay or think about a treatment, or simply declining unnecessary x-rays for a very young child--expect to be punished.

Dr. Matsuishi is the best dentist! He is very thorough and never runs late. He is a teddy bear! Very gentle. Sometimes, the doctor does work at no charge, which is unheard of these days. My wife and I highly recommend him.
