If you're nervous about the experience or cost of seeing a dentist, go to Dr. Bagus. He is wonderful. He listens to you and takes your concerns to heart. He will always work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs and your budget. He teaches at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, so he is an expert on all the latest techniques. His office looks modest from the street, but it is outfitted with the very latest high-tech equipment. And perhaps best of all, he is highly ethical. He would never suggest an unnecessary or overly expensive procedure. I recommend Dr. Rene Bagus wholeheartedly. (My friends love him too.)

This review describes the events that occured during the only visit of mine to Dr. Bagus. I will offer no opinion of his skill nor proffesionalism wheather good or bad. I will simply decribe an event and let the reader decide. A few months ago I went there to have a filling that had fallen out replaced. Dr. Bagus then given me a new filling but in the process happened to accidentally cause minor damage to a neighboring tooth which I was told to "keep clean or else the that damage may turn into a cavity". No actions were taken to fix this accidental damage to my tooth, although I didn't necessarily seek that something be done either because I was told that would entail removing first the filling that he had just placed in order to get to the damage, so Dr. Bagus decided it was best left alone. Since then my filling has fallen again, and I have learned that the accidental damage done to my tooth during my visit has in fact turned into a cavity.

He was very helpful about caring for my teeth. He's a nice guy. The office is very family oriented.
