Dr Galera is confrontational when questioned about bills. She gets quite hostile, even when the errors are proven to be with the insurance company or her staff. Read examples on Yelp.com. She doesn't care about patient loyalty at all. She has had tremendous staff turnover over the past couple of years, which says a lot. For a routine exam&clean, you spend about 95% of the time with the hygienist, and then Dr Galera will come in for a couple of minutes, basically confirming what the hygienist already found, or in other words, letting the hygienist do the work for her and she rubber stamps it. She routinely dismisses patients from her care when they question bills, and demonstrates a clear temper, which is somewhat contrary to her advertising on her wall, the fact that she is a certified Karate Black Belt, which is only attained after mastering the martial arts, which includes personal discipline of control of the emotions. Avoid Dr Galera at all costs.
About Front Desk: The front desk staff basically is totally incompetent. They do not know how to do insurance billing, nor to deal with patients when they complain about bills. There is a revolving door, due to the constant turnover among the front desk staff. Not a good sign...

Dr. Galera is the Best!!! dentist I have ever had. I hope she stays forever. My family and children go there and we all love her. Pain Free, very professional, does not try to make money off of you like other dentist who want to take advantage of your dental insurance. Excellent staff, espcecially Cris her hygieniest, she is the best. I highly recommend Dr. Galera. We all needed braces and could of changed to a different dental insurance but because we would loose Dr. Galera we decided not to change insurance companies. Dr. Galera is an excellent dentist, Thank you , Thank you.

Dr. Galera has very professional staff. They are very punctual, and the exam rooms are pleasant, and have some fancy video tools for looking into your mouth. I have not had any complicated procedures in 5 years, but the doctor seems very capable.

Dr. Barbara Galera and her staff are excellent! I have been to many dentists and she is detail oriented, understanding, and the most professional dentist I have met.
