Dr Gruell is a very skilled Dental Surgeon. He rebuilt my front tooth from the root and crowned it, extracted a back tooth and did some root canals for me. I am now going to have him do an implant. I did not feel any pain at all, and I didn't feel the needle injection either - at all! He is very gentle, kind and sensitive, as well as being the most advanced technically. His Assistant Kimmie is wonderful too. I recommend Dr Gruell, you will be pleased you found him :)

I had a root canal done; I have never had the worst dental experience until i saw Dr. Gruell. The root canal was not done properly and it developed bacteria that I had to get it re-done by another Endodontic.
He is very expensive and also did a crown on me that was not necessary. He uses scare tactics such as you have a lot of tooth decay. After second and third opinion with other dentist; I did not have of those issues. Just a scam by Dr. Gruell to get more money..

A patient, knowledgable dentist, Dr Gruell, helped with my anxiety issues in the dental chair. His calm demeanor and quick reactions kept what could have been a bad situation manageable. Thanks Dr. Gruell, i'll be back soon.

I went to Dr Gruell for a crown and (later on) a filling for my upper front tooth.
Dr Gruell gives painless injection (I did not feel anything).
My crown fits well and looks great.
The filling for my upper front tooth is so skillfully done that it looks like I have no filling at all.

Because I live in the East Bay, my regular dentist who practices in SF referred me to Dr. Gruell for 2 dental implants (a few years apart) because he told me he was the best in the bay area, and his success rate with implants was much higher than the implant dentists in SF to whom he had referred his patients who live in SF. In fact, Dr. Gruell has done implants for my dentist as well. My experience was fabulous. Dr. Gruell is very gentle. He explains the procedure thoroughly and prepares a treatment plan. His office staff were great. He did the surgeries on a Friday and had his RN follow-up with me on the weekend to see how I was doing after surgeries. I highly recommend this office!

Dr Gruell has done extensive rebuilding of my teeth. He is the perfect professional with a wonderful sense of humor and he does the most beautiful restorative work imaginable. I couldn't be more impressed with the work he's done - everytime I smile, I'm stunned by my perfect teeth. I would recommend Dr. Gruell 100% to anyone.

I have had a root canal and some fillings but mostly regular cleanings and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my mouth.
