I saw one review that said she was very fast... Yes that is true. I believe she is very efficient, but not with any reduction of quality. I would say she is brisk and sometimes I feel it when she bumps into my gums. But she is also responsive to requests, e.g. repositioning a chair or light. Last time I was there, after one little gulp when she bumped my gums, she switched to a different scraper and then there was no problem.
... I said "very inexpensive" because she accepts our dental insurance so there is no out-of-pocket cost to us. This might seem obvious, but not all dentists accept mainstream insurance.
... I go for regular cleanings twice a year, perio recall, and yearly x-rays. Three years ago she repaired a filling that had come loose from another dentist's work, and I've had no problem since.
... There is always somebody at the front desk, usually Michelle, who answers all questions quickly and politely while juggling paperwork and phone calls - excellent.
... I give this practice overall "four" for quality, nothing fancy dental service.

I have been a patient for the past 6 years as well...my son who is now 8 has been her patient since he was 3 years and my daughter will become a patient when she turns 3 years as well. Dr. Jabali is gentle, and actually cares for the whole person, guaranteeing peace of mind. This is the BEST dentist I have EVER used and a GREAT family practice!!!
About Hygienist: Dr. Jabali personally cleans my teeth, though I have also been seen by her hygienist, both do a gentle, thorough job, leaving you clean and confident!!!

she did my cleaning in more or less 7 minutes, yes, 7 minutes, because she was probably tired? I saw the same tartar in the mirror the same day after cleaning. She seems get too many patients and had to rush, sorry, not me again!

I have been Dr. Jabali's patient for four months, as has my 17-year-old godson. Both of us have been very pleased with the quality and professionalism of her work.
I needed a referral to an endodontist, and the specialist to whom she referred me, Dr. Barry Fong (Oakland), was excellent. Dr. Jabali finished the work by implanting a post for a new crown, and the final result was perfect. (I have some claustrophobia, and had to ask her to give me a few "breaks" during the procedure, which she graciously accommodated.)
People have made comments about the facilities. Actually, I find Dr. Jabali's waiting room to be much nicer than that of my old dentist, who only takes high-grade insurance (and costs twice as much). Also, contrary to another user's comment, I've never had a problem booking an appointment with her in the afternoon.
Dr. Jabali is a caring person, and her receptionist/office manager, Michelle, is highly efficient and organized. It is rare to find a dnntist of her quality who will accept "lower-grade" dental insurance and Medi-Cal. Dr. Jabali is a treasure!

She is a great Dentist. I am not even in California now and fly back to Berkeley to continue to be her patient.
She is quality work not the quantity.
About Hygienist: Dr. Jabali does the hygien herself. It is very very important because you will be in a doctor's hand.

Jabali advertises Saturday appointments but does not honor her ad. Only emergency patients on Saturdays. Cannot book afternoon appointments (after 12noon) unless its an extraction. Did not respond at all to trying to work around my busy work schedule. I have to find another Dentist that is more concerned about their patients.

I've been a patient for years and for the area, Dr. Jabali's office is the best in service/cost. You could drive 20-30 minutes away to Emeryville/Oakland for a nicer facility, but you'd also pay a lot more.

I am new to the area and have only visited Dr Jabali twice (once for a checkup and once for a filling), but both experiences left a very favorable impression. Although the facilities are not showy, this is obviously because Dr Jabali prioritizes providing high quality dental care over providing flashy facilities. She clearly cares about her patients' dental health, and she explains her procedures clearly and knowledgably.

Great Dentist, good customer service. The only drawback would be the cosmetological services, this office doesn't really do any of that.
