Dr. Sharma and his team have always taken great care of me - patiently answering my many questions and administering treatment with gentleness and professionalism. The reason I think it's expensive is because he is not covered by my insurance.

Great! She is just very casual and friendly and made you comfortable by just gossiping about your life. I went in for a slight tooth irritation which thankfully was just irritated gum. She immediately pin pointed the problem, explained how I should treat it, and then performed a localised deep cleaning around the irritated tooth. Didn't have to worry about annoying numbness since she just applied a numbing gel to the needed area (no drool), and that wore off as soon as I walked out the door.

I will never recommend Dr. Sharma to anyone, I had a 9 unit bridge done by Dr. Sharma 7 years ago which was fine, I had bridge replaced 3 years ago by another dentist(daugter in Atlanta)for aesthetic reason, but I developed decay and must replace the bridge with bridge plus implants. He recommended Periodontist who did gum surgery 7 years ago and I did not want to go through with the horrible pain again, so I got a second opinion and he became non RESPONSIVE, no phone call was returned and email was not answered, finally I called Dean's Office to complain, after 3 weeks of frustration, Dr.Sharma called with lame excuse about how rude I was to his receptionist and staff dentist. He told me that he did not want to treat me and frankly I was happy about his decision, I really wanted fees refunded and never go back to UCSF for the treatment, their facility is not a state of art but very old and unpleasant place to be, after all you are the one paying and they should treat the patient as well as they like to be treated.

Dr. Sharma is a personable, intelligent and caring doctor. He also works at UCSF which offers state of the art facility for tough dental cases. I recommend him highly!!!
