Yes....I am very sorry that I did not say anything about my experience with Dr. Takata long, long ago. At the time my 2 children and myself only had Medi-Cal. I only went to him 1 time for a terrible toothache I could no longer endure. I was checked out as any patient would be...and told that the tooth would need a root canal. That very day Dr Takata proceeded to remove the 1st of my existing GOLD crowns. (My bad tooth had NO crown) He then sent me home - to return the next day. On that day he removed with more force than the day before, the second of my GOLD crowns. I questioned him about it because I've had more than a couple root canals, and this was NOT the procedure my previous family dentist performed. He had NO explanation as to what he was doing - and started in on the tooth that needed the root canal. I returned in 1 week to finish up with the root canal....and got a SILVER crown. I also got 2 more SILVER crowns on the teeth that he had pryed off my existing GOLD crowns. I should have 3 GOLD and 1 SILVER - but now have 3 SILVER and 1 GOLD crown. Thank God I caught him before he got that last one!! I have dental records to prove my statement. My only regret - not saying something sooner. But I'm talking now
