Dr. Metnes is the most hands on dentist I have ever gone to. There was a certain point where I did not have dental insurance and I decided to go to another local dentist. I was told I had eight cavities. I have only had two cavities in my entire life. I went back to have Dr. Metnes check and I only had one. Dr. Metnes is extremely trust worthy and does not do dental work that is not needed. He also does the cleanings himself. I am a smoker and he will spend up to an hour cleaning all the tar off my teeth. Any other dentist that I have visted came in at the end of the appt, went over my x-rays, and then left after glancing at my teeth. I have only had one problem with any dental work he has done, and I called and he fixed it immediately without any charge. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Metnes. We have three generations going to him.

Receptionist seems to have poor attitude. No sense of urgency during an emergancy. Fillings have fallen out after a couple of years :-( and needed replaced. Higher cost than others in the area.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Metnes since he was a teenager and has followed him to his new location. Dr. Metnes is very knowledgable and takes the time to listen to his patients. The staff is first-class and my husband would not go anywhere else. The staff is great about getting him in for late appointments and sends him a reminder before each appointment.
