I've been going to Dr. Soltero for over 10 years and have always had great treatment and a family office environment. He is very skilled (adjunct prof. at the UW) and never hestitates to send me on to a referral if he feels the treatment would be better at another dentist. Great bedside manner, very gentle and patient, great staff.

I went to see Dr. Soltero for TMJ problems. He is very very experienced and gentle -- explained to me exactly what was going on and gave ideas on things I can do to help resolve this problem. Very good!

When I was seen in c. 2004 by Dr Soltero, I was happy to take his recommendation to remove all silver fillings and replace with enamel colored fillings but I have had continual problems ever since he removed the one and only filling I agreed to have replaced. Thinking there was an issue with the bite, I returned for a filing of the replacement but later was told by a different dentist that I have a fracture in the tooth. In hindsight, I recall a phone call that took Dr. Soltero out of the office once he filled the tooth with the temporary material and the fears I felt as I sat for an extended time as the material dried. The fear was that something was going or had gone wrong. Perhaps the tooth cracked while he was away on the phone call. All I know is that I wondered if he had forgotten I was in the chair. Overall, I was pleased with his hands and his work but now I wish I had sought second opinion. I was not having problems with the tooth prior to this recommendation. Now the tooth must be canaled and capped and I haven't any insurance to have this done. Perhaps his son took his practice because I thought Dr. Soltero was soon to retire at the time of my service. Moral: Best to get a second opinion for extensive work.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Dr. Soltero is a kind and very skilled dentist (recommended to me for advanced care by my dentist) who takes the time to completely explain issues and treatment. Very pleasant experience.

Very professional yet quite friendly and approachable. Modern practice, he serves as adjunct prof at UW-sometimes answers questions regarding procedures citing study results. (Inquire about his garden.) Support staff is also friendly and efficient. Cost??-I'm on insurance plan.

I just moved to the area and needed a dentist...FAST! I had to get a referral to get my wisdom teeth pulled and got a referral from someone I worked with. After stepping foot into Dr. Soltero's office, I felt right at home. Everyone in the office was friendly, humorous and thoughful. Before I knew it, I knew everything I needed to about my mouth, and was able to talk to the doctor about what I felt I needed. They took x-rays and showed me everything they were looking at. When they probed my gums they even let me know what the numbers they called out meant and how I could get them lower. When referring me to an oral surgeon, Dr. Soltero assured me that the referral would be close to my home, as well as a very good doctor. He told me that he had sent his own children to get their wisdom teeth out by this doctor, so I felt even more comfortable with this recommendation. Overall I felt that my trip to Dr. Soltero's office helped me to find a low-cost, friendly dentist in the area, which is just what I was looking for. I just hope I don't move soon...I don't know if I'll be able to find another doctor like him!
