I would NOT recommend her as a dentist! She is not compassionate, patient, or sympathetic to your child's nerves and anxiety about going to the dentist. I have talked to many people too who have seen Dr. Ortuzar and has come out with the same impression that I had. If you are looking for a caring and genuine dentist, do not go to her!

I took my daughter to Dr. Ortuzar for several years until recently when she made a mistake I could not ignore. She only gives information on the treatment option she wants your child to have and withholds information so you cannot make an informed decision. The last straw for me and my daughter is when she failed to educate us on the options to protect teeth during braces and then when the braces were off blamed my daughter for the cavities. She told my daughter her teeth looked ugly-that is cruel. I had to take the little information I could force her to share with me and do research on my own to find treatment options. I have since taken her to a new dentist who kindly provided all treatment options available. Her teeth look beautiful again after some simple treatments never mentioned by Dr. Ortuzar-her only option was an expensive cosmetic option which she told me my daughter couldn't have until she learned to brush better (the next dentist said the cavities she had were not due to poor brushing but difficulty getting to the area because of braces). Dr. Ortuzar also ignored two cavities in my daughter's mouth (I took her for cleanings every six months) resulting in very deep caries which now have to be watched for root canal.

I took my 5yr old daughter to this animal and she squeezed her face and screamed, " I WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER KID THROW UP ON ME!" My daughter ran and hid by me . It took some time to get her to another dentist. I was lucky to find a kind and gentle dentist that regained her trust.

Best kids dentist. After seeing two other pediatric dentist, she was the best and most knowledgable. The staff was awesome and the service the best. We had a cleaning, xrays and fillings done with the top standard that as a parent you want for your child.

Don't go to this dentist! When went to her for about 2 yrs. We gave her lots of business (3kids). She refused to talk to me when I wanted to confront her for the way she treated my kid and never called me back. She is a pediatric dentist whom, has no regard for the kids. She also pulled teeth without pain killer or my knowing about it. Yelled at my kids for crying and said they have no reason to cry. Called my kids names to my face because they wouldn't corporate with her (my kid was 4). She said they were brats- No, Olga, they are scared of you!! She is not a very nice person and need to remember she is treating children (most are scared of the dentist)!
