Read Reviews for Dr. Kathryn Onishi
It was like I never left. Kathryn's new office is very professional and accommodating. My last dentist retired and sold business to new Dr that I did not care for and looked to see if Kathryn was still practicing in the area. She explained what was wrong and the corrective actions which my last dentist did not. The procedure was difficult but she made sure I was comfortable during the 2 hour procedure. I fell asleep a couple of times, very relaxed under her care.
About Front Desk: Reception was good and billing was complete. No issues in this area. They got preapproval and called me next day to discuss costs. Getting appointment was easy and not 2 months out.
My Experience: Crown
I know this doctor: I was a previous patient for 3-4 years and left due to change in insurance. It has been over 10 yrs since my last visit with Kathryn.

I went to Dr Onishi and it was not a great experience. Her Dental Tech couldnt get the rubber dam clamp on my tooth correcty. It kept slipping and gouging my gum. The 4th try Dr Onishi just told her tech to leave it off. I was not totally numb, the inside part closest to my tongue was not numb, the outside to the cheek was. The drilling on my tooth was the worst dental experience ever. The receptionist is not friendly either. She has no personality at all.
About Hygienist: I didnt get her name but she was not friendly and was full of deep breathes of stress and was not at all good.
I know this doctor: 6 months

Dr. Onishi is now in a new location in Mukilteo. She has been our family's dentist for many years. We enjoy her gentleness, patience, and kindness. Her office manager is very helpful, always willing to answer my billing/insurance questions. I highly recommend Dr. Onishi! The decor in her new office is beautiful.

I have been a long time patient of Dr Onishi and have been very please with the dental work and her kind caring "chair-side manner.

Dr. Onishi is the finest dentist I've have ever seen. She is a perfectionist, taking all the time necessary to make sure her work is ideal. Her technique is flowing and seamless, like a tai-chi dancer. Her work is painless. I recently called to reschedule a cleaning and was surprised to not hear her name in the office phone greeting. She is no longer on Colby in Everett, and the staff refused to tell me where she was practicing. I hit this site looking for a current address for her, and want to both recommend her and publicize the unethical practice of Dr. Benjamin's office in not revealing her new office. They are attempting to deny her the income she lives on, and deny me the doctor on whom I rely.

I found Dr. Onishi to be a very gentle and caring dentist. Did not experience any pain having my teeth drilled and filled.
The hygienists at this office are not good. They talk, talk, talk, talk talk wayyy too much. Front desk ladies are very friendly. Cost is average.
